There have been studies in which contralesional inhibitory and ipsilesional excitatory transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) has been used as coadjuvant therapy in the motor rehabilitation of the thoracic limb in patients. However, there is no consensus regarding the stimulation variables or their clinical outcomes.
